How we list, verify and rank companies
IT Company Qatar is a directory for comparing technology providers that work in Qatar. Listings are free and editorial. This page explains where the information comes from and how the list is ordered.
Where the information comes from
We build each profile from public sources and keep a link to every source:
- The company's own website: services, platforms, industries, languages, contact details and addresses.
- Official vendor partner directories (for example Odoo's partner list), for partner status.
- Public Qatar ICT business records, to confirm registration.
- Public map listings, only to confirm that an address or area exists.
We don't copy descriptions, ratings or reviews from other directories or from Google. We don't guess email addresses or fill gaps with assumptions: if we couldn't confirm something, the profile leaves it out or says it isn't confirmed yet.
How we verify Qatar presence
Not every company serving Qatar is based here, so every profile shows exactly one local-presence level (Registered and Office can appear together):
- Qatar Registered: registration confirmed against public Qatar ICT business records.
- Qatar Office: the address on its website matches a public map or registry entry.
- Serves Qatar: the company accepts Qatar projects, but we haven't verified a local office.
Each profile shows the date it was last verified. We re-check listings at least once a year, and sooner when a company or reader tells us something has changed. See all badge definitions.
How the default order works
Lists are sorted by relevance unless you choose another order. Companies with a verified Qatar presence (Registered or Office) are listed before those that only serve Qatar; within each group, relevance combines:
- How closely the company's stated services match the page you're on (the biggest factor).
- How much of its Qatar presence we verified.
- How complete and well-sourced its profile is.
- Documented experience, such as published case studies and clients.
- How recently we verified it.
- Specialisation in relevant platforms and industries.
Payment never affects this order. We don't sort by rating because we don't show ratings yet. You can also sort by local presence or A–Z, and filter by presence, location, industry, business size, language, platform and service features.
Promoted placements
Promoted placements are always labelled Promoted and never affect organic ranking. They appear in a separate slot above the list, never inside it, and can't buy a verification badge, a better position in the main list, or changes to a profile we haven't checked.
Get matched requests
When you use Get matched, we read your request and help you find a suitable provider. Your request may be shared with one or more providers we work with. We'll tell you who we're passing your request to.
Corrections and claims
If something on a profile is wrong, tell us and we'll re-check the source. Companies can claim their profile to suggest updates; we review every change before publishing it.
